Have you seen the great new movie, “Walk the Line” yet? I’ve seen it once and am counting the days until I can see it again. Yeah, I liked it that well!
The performances were remarkable – Reese Witherspoon is absolutely adorable in the role of June Carter Cash, and Joaquin Phoenix does an amazing job of portraying Johnny Cash without looking like he’s portraying Johnny Cash. He makes it look effortless.
Reese and Joaquin actually do all the singing in the movie – a fact that blew me right away. They both have very, very good voices. No disrespect intended, whatsoever, but I actually like Reese’s voice better than June’s.
Anyway, it’s a wonderful movie and I highly recommend it.
