I’ve never heard a song with Bow Wow on it that wasn’t totally hot. The newest one is one of the best songs on the radio right now, imo, right up there with Daughtry’s, Gwen Stefani’s newest, and anything Beyonce does, of course. I also love Nickleback’s “Rock Star.”
Anyway, I got to wondering what Bow Wow’s real name was…because I was pretty sure Bow Wow wasn’t on the birth certificate. I found out more than just his name, so I thought I’d post it all her in case there’s anything you might want to know about this superstar in the making.
His real name is Shad Moss.
He was born March 9, 1987 in Columbus, Ohio.
He started rapping at the age of 3. Three!
He has appeared in more than one Campbell’s Soup commercials. He has always been in commercials for Verbs and Trix.
He was a straight A student.
Jermaine Dupri and Snoop Dogg are a few of Bow Wow’s mentors.
Bow Wow is good friends with basketball superstar Allen Iverson.
Bow Wow has two sisters named Erica and Jasarah.
At the 2005 MTV Music Awards, Ciara, accompanied by Bow wow, showed up with a big “engaged ” ring on her finger, but they both denied being engaged.
He has his own clothing line named Shago.
Although they did date, Ciara and Bow Wow have since broken up.
Bow Wow earned a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records as the youngest rapper to have a #1 hit (with the 2000 track Bounce with Me).
Omarion is one of Bow Wow’s best friends.
Bow Wow played the role of Twinkie in the movie The Fast and The Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006).
He appeared in the movie “Like Mike.”
Bow Wow does a lot of his own song writing.

everyone says this but seriously most Kindergardeners are barely at a kindergarden speaking level. I /highly/ doubt he was actually rapping before then.
