Forget Waldo, where are Jennifer’s assetts?!?!

First off, let me say right up front: I love myself some Jennifer Hudson. I think she’s gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. As is. My beef in this post isn’t with Jennifer – there’s nothing wrong with her whatsoever.

I’m just amazed at the people that photoshop celebrities pictures. Look at her new CD cover, for example! Do they think people aren’t going to notice that they just wiped out half of Jennifer’s body?!
If, for some reason they thought a full-figured singer wouldn’t sell…. why not go with a freakin’ headshot?

This one goes down in the books as being one of the wildest photoshop nightmares of all time.

First of all, why does it have to be considered a nightmare? I’m aware it’s your opinion, but do you really think all the models or anyone else for that matter doesn’t use photo shop. The key word is HER ALBUM COVER….

Jhud, do what you want because I think you look gorgeous. Absolutely gorgeous. As far as what other people think, there’s always going to be some negative comments. I have some negative feelings on your statements but its still your opinion. Everyone has one but she’s making her money and doing it the right way.

I think she’s gorgeous, too. That’s the point. Jennifer doesn’t need anyone to make her look like anyone else – her fans love her like she is. One of the things people adore about her is that she is who she is and dares anyone to have a problem with it.

I first became a fan when she was on American Idol and Simon was BEYOND harsh with her – about her “look” and “style.” She was cool about it and all, but she stood her ground and obviously was completely comfortable with herself – which she should be.

I happen to think she’s the most beautiful female singer out there. Her face, skin, hair, everything – flawless. And her smile – she could light up a city with that smile.

I think the fact that she isn’t scrawny like so many of the people in the biz makes her even more gorgeous. She actually has curves!

I know all celebs are photoshopped, and I don’t think it’s a great thing – not when they change the star’s appearance so drastically. They’re trying to make everyone look like wax figures or Barbie dolls. (Have you seen Kate Hudson on one of the magazine covers this month? Doesn’t even look like her.)

Thanks for leaving your thoughts – I’m always glad to hear from other Jennifer Hudson fans. I’ve looked forward to this cd for two forevers and I can’t wait to get my hands on it. – Joi

I agree with you Joi. I love me some JHud too but that fake album cover is unnecessary. She doesn’t need photoshopping. She takes great pictures and she is beautiful in her natural state. It’s sad because this is her debut album. Something she ’s gonna reflect back on further along in her career. The only reasons I can think of as to why she did it is because maybe Simon’s harsh comments got to her after all, she let some amatuer friends design her album cover or she wasn’t as self confident with her body after all. I was bamboozled. I’m a full-figured woman myself and I was so proud when of Jennifer for keeping it real for us full-figured women and then she go and sell-out. I can’t even get past the fake album cover and the gangsta’ rappers supposedly dueting on the CD to concentrate on her magnificent vocal ability.

ladyglen ChicagoStyle – she’s a great role model. You know, I wouldn’t be surprised AT ALL if the photoshopping wasn’t even her idea. She may not have even been aware it went on.

I’ve read about so many celebs HATING the photoshopping process. Keira Knightley hated that her picture on the movie poster (for King Arthur) was given boobs – she was really upset and was, like, “I don’t know why they did that – I don’t have boobs!”

Recently Dane Cook was laughing about a new movie poster of his – he wondered, in an interview, what they did with his acne scars.

I’m excited for the CD from this beautiful singer – but someone really dropped the ball with the photoshopping stuff. – Joi
