It should be utterly fascinating to see what 2011 brings for this talented and beautiful artist. She’s starting it off in a stylishly kicky kind of way and generating a lot of buzz… always a smart thing to do when you’re tying to catch the public’s eye and spark their interest.

Cher was recently spotted with a Rihanna-like hairstyle. She dyed it red and stylishly piled it into a mohawk of ringlets.

Billboard's Social 50 List

Billboard has a new chart called Social 50 which ranks the most active artists on the world’s leading social networking site. It’s an ingenious way to see who’s hottest amongst the social networking generation. Not suprisingly, noneother than Rihanna sits in the number 1 spot in its debut week. The beautiful songstress is followed by Justin Bieber and Eminem at the second and third places respectively.

“We continue to adapt the way we chart the changing landscape of music,” Billboard Editorial Director, Bill Werde, said of the new chart. “The Social 50 is yet another step in the evolution of Billboard and an important response to our changing times.”

They use a unique metric that includes weekly page views and song plays on sites like MySpace, iLike, YouTube and Facebook.
Trailing behind the Slim Shady (at number 3) are Lady GaGa and Nicki Minaj. Black Eyed Peas, Katy Perry, Ke$ha, Linkin Park and Shakira also make the top 10.

The Always Stylish and Stunning Rihanna

Rihanna is almost as well known for her fashion sense and style as she is her music. The beautiful singer and fashion icon loves to shock people and avoids being predictable at all costs.

Talking about her future look, Rihanna (22) said: “I probably see a lot of menswear, or something extremely, extremely feminine. But I like to play with both. It would have to be so extreme that it’s a look, because I don’t usually like typical ladylike, girly-girly stuff. It would be a look if I were to do it. I always like something that’s a little off, so it’s just not typical or expected.”

Rihanna admits her style has evolved over the years but never wants her look to become “contrived”.

She told Interview magazine: “Well, I would say that in the beginning of my career, I didn’t have a lot of input in what I wore and stuff, but it was a very, innocent, girly look. Then after we put out ‘Good Girl Gone Bad’, it kind of became a darker, edgier look, and then it got even edgier on the last album. And now it’s just . . . I’m over the whole structured clothing, overly shoulder-padded s**t. I like stuff that’s easy without trying too hard. I don’t like stuff that’s too contrived.”

Rihanna, you are anything but contrived.

Great song, but I think I love the video even more. Who couldn’t appreciate the Chris Brown look alike and the whole in your face attitude? It’s like she flies the finger at him with her entire body. And what a body – good Lord, this girl is ridiculous.

Matt Kemp, Rihanna’s rumored lover, has gone on record as saying that they’re “just good friends.”

Rihanna was first linked to the baseball player at the end of last year, and rumors of a budding romance hit an all-time high when they were spotted vacationing in Mexico. They were also spotted watching a basketball game together in Los Angeles, fueling reports they are dating.

Rihanna recently dispelled the rumors by saying she’s “not dating anyone — I’m single,” and now Los Angeles Dodgers star Kemp has spoken out, too, by saying their relationship is purely platonic.

He tells People, “I can’t get distracted by that. When it’s time to play baseball, that’s my job. No distractions. (Rihanna is) just a friend, a good friend of mine.”

Rihanna on Glamour Magazine

The first interview with Rihanna after being assaulted by Chris Brown will air this week on ABC.

Rihanna sat down for a one-on-one interview with Diane Sawyer which will air Thursday and Friday on Good Morning America and Friday night on 20/20.

Chris Brown was sentenced, of course, in August to five years’ probation, six months of community labor and a year of domestic-violence counseling after he pleaded guilty to felony assault.

Rihanna is getting back into the public eye to promote her new single, Russian Roulette, from her upcoming album, Rated R, out Nov. 23.

The beautiful star also appears on the cover of this month’s Glamour, where she discusses the healing process.

“The positive thing that has come out of my situation is that people can learn from (me),” she says in the article. “I want to give as much insight as I can to young women, because I feel like I represent a voice that really isn’t heard. Now I can help speak for those women.”

She’ll be honored Monday by Glamour Magazine as their choice for Glamour Woman of the Year its gala awards ceremony at Carnegie Hall.
