Eleven-time GRAMMY winner Eminem leads the 53rd GRAMMYs with 10 nominations: Record Of The Year (with Rihanna), Song Of The Year (with Alexander Grant and Skylar Grey), Best Rap/Sung Collaboration (with Rihanna), and Best Rap Song (with Grant and Grey) for “Love The Way You Lie”; Best Short Form Music Video (with Rihanna) for “Love The Way You Lie (Explicit Version)”; Album Of The Year and Best Rap Album for Recovery; Best Pop Collaboration With Vocals for “Airplanes, Part II” (with B.o.B & Hayley Williams); and Best Rap Solo Performance and Best Rap Song (with M. Burnett, J. Evans, Luis Resto & M. Samuels) for “Not Afraid.”

Two-time GRAMMY winner Lady Gaga has six nods: Album Of The Year and Best Pop Vocal Album for The Fame Monster; Best Female Pop Vocal Performance and Best Short Form Music Video for “Bad Romance”; Best Pop Collaboration With Vocals for “Telephone” (with Beyonce); and Best Dance Recording for “Dance In The Dark.”

Two-time GRAMMY winner Green and Perry each are up for four awards: Green for Record Of The Year, Song Of The Year, Best Urban/Alternative Performance, and Best Short Form Music Video for “F*** You”; and Perry for Album Of The Year and Best Pop Vocal Album for Teenage Dream, Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for “Teenage Dream,” and Best Pop Collaboration With Vocals for “California Gurls” (with Snoop Dogg).

Arcade Fire and Lambert each have three nominations: Arcade Fire for Album Of The Year and Best Alternative Music Album for The Suburbs, and Best Rock Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals for “Ready To Start”; and Lambert for Best Female Country Vocal Performance for “The House That Built Me,” Best Country Collaboration With Vocals for “Bad Angel” (with Dierks Bentley and Jamey Johnson), and Best Country Album for Revolution.

Katy Perry sat down to talk about her new album Teenage Dream and how she decided on the title.  The pop princess talks about the euphoric feeling that teenage love brings and how she wanted that to translate to the record.

Katy will be performing her new single “Firework” off of Teenage Dream at the upcoming Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show airing November 30th on CBS.

Beautiful and vivacious Katy Perry is set to be the first ever musical artist to participate in the YouTube moderator platform. Previous moderators include President Obama and James Cameron.

Fans can log in to YouTube and submit text and video questions on Katy’s page. The best will rise to the top via voting and Katy will return later this month to answer the most popular submissions. Check out her personal video announcing the event here.

Katy Perry has become such a favorite artist of mine – I can’t even tell you how much I like her. She’s a total breath of fresh (and fun) air compared to so most female artists, and the girl’s freaking talented.

One of the things I love most about Katy is that she seems to have been put on earth to have a good time and is determined to do her job!

Here are the scoops of what this lovely lady has been up to lately.

Are Katy Perry and Josh Grobin Dating?
Sources say that Katy Perry and crooner Josh Grobin are, in fact, dating. They’re trying to keep a low profile, which explains why there aren’t pictures scattered all over the internet.

Katy Gets Pissed On
“Jeremy Scott is one of my all time favourites and he shot the pictures while I got to prance around in his creations,” she wrote on her blog. “I had a chimp on set with me that day. Fun fact, she peed all over me, I had to take a silkwood shower in the middle of shooting.”

The “Silkwood shower,” of course, refers to the infamous shower scene from the movie Silkwood. No doubt Katy did some intense scrubbing.

With Gwen Stefani being away from the music scene lately (making beautiful babies), I’m glad we have Katy Perry to keep things fresh and fun. I love the way she doesn’t take things too seriously. That’s also one of my favorite things about Gwen Stefani.

They’re both beautiful, fun, and incredibly talented. They also tend to wear things that no one else could ever get away with!

There are only two weeks to go before the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards, and the excitement’s growing like wildfire. 

Kanye, Rihanna, Chris Brown, Katy Perry… so many great artists are up for awards. Kanye should win with Good Life, but I’ve thought that before. Unless you’ve been living in a cave or on a Country Music station, you’ve heard Katy Perry’s “I Kissed a Girl.”   When I first heard the song, I thought it was Amy Winehouse.  But I’d heard all of her stuff and knew she’d never done a song about kissing a girl. Besides, a few lines into the song I realized it wasn’t Amy.

I listened to the end for the DJ to give me the name, but all he said was, “This girl’s getting a lot of comparisons to Amy Winehouse!”  Then he went into details about the weather.

Thanks, guy.

When I got home, I jumped on GOOGLE and soon found out what I needed to know.  That was a few weeks ago and, of course, by now everyone knows Katy.

On his website, Perez Hilton wrote: “If Avril Lavigne were actually talented, pretty, and had an appealing personality, she’d be Katy Perry. She’s got the whole package!”   Ouch.

Katy has said, “I don’t care who I’m compared to as long as people listen to the music.  Usually I find it funny to say I’m like a skinnier version of Lily Allen and a fatter version of Amy Winehouse. It always renders a good chuckle.”

Katy’s gaining a monstrous following – it’ll be interesting to see where this all goes.  She very well be the next big thing.
