You know what, I still consider myself a fan of Jessica Simpson’s. When the girl remembers her lyrics, her voice is absolutely phenomenal. I also thought she was adorable in The Dukes of Hazard movie – but wish to God it had been the only movie she ever attempted.

I just don’t know what went wrong. Did she try to do too many different things? Is she trying too hard? Is she not trying hard enough? Is the scrutiny and pressure too much?

No answers. Just questions.

I do have an idea though: Dancing With the Stars. She has such a great personality and is so lovable that this show would be the ideal format to allow America to fall in love with her all over again.

Take Lil’ Kim for example. I never knew she had such an INCREDIBLE personality. This girl is an absolute sweetheart and is full of energy, vitality and life. She was so much fun to watch on DWTS this season and brought so much to the show. In fact, she’s only been gone (wrongly at that!) for one week and the show just isn’t the same.

When I hear the name Lil’ Kim now, I don’t think of her crazy outfits or any of the drama, I think of a very pretty girl who’s personality is 25 times bigger than her frame.

I think a bout on Dancing With the Stars would work the same magic for Jessica.

Four of the prettiest faces in Country Music – Jessica Simpson, Julianne Hough, LeAnn Rimes, and Kellie Pickler – were on hand at the 44th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards Nominations Announcement. I wonder how awkward it was, given the fact that LeAnn Rimes has been pretty catty about Jessica in the media.

Jessica Simpson on OK! Magazine

Jessica Simpson will be on the cover and inside the next issue of OK! Magazine.

Once and for all, this girl is not even remotely fat! It’s outrageous to me that bloggers and magazine editors (not OK!’s – they have class) can sit, hidden from the world, and call celebrities too fat, too skinny, too old, too fugly,etc. It’d be bad enough if Jessica Simpson were, indeed, fat – but she’s not!

Man, that just burns me.

Now, watch. When she loses weight (which, apparently, she now feels forced to do) – she’ll be back on the covers with headlines that read, “What Happened to Jessica Simpson?… Has She Been Sick?… Friends Worry About Her Health…”

From the magazine:
“She eats her feelings — it’s hard having people criticizing your every move and ridiculing you on blogs,” one close friend tells OK!. “Once Jessica stops touring [next month], she’ll calm her nerves and the weight will hopefully fall off.”

In addition, Jess will need to cut back on her favorite finger foods like chips and guacamole and make a few substitutions, as well as falling back into a fitness routine.

“She’d much rather gossip with her girlfriends than hit the treadmill, so I know she needs to get a workout buddy to run with her,” her friend reveals.

*** Stop believing what you read, “friend,” the girl doesn’t have a weight problem.

The song is beautiful – I absolutely love it. Jessica possesses one of my favorite female voices ever. I could listen to the girl sing all day. She has found her niche with country music and I’m thrilled for her. Her country debut album, Do You Know, sold 65000 copies in its first week of release to debut at the top of Billboard’s country albums chart.

Apparently some fans took exception to what Jessica wore, but I thought she looked fantastic. If you’ve got it, flaunt it on out there! I mean, why hide beauty? Dolly, Faith, Shania – they never hid their sex appeal.

Come on critics. She’s beautiful. She can sing. She’s a sweet person. Leave her alone.

As if poor Jessica didn’t have enough trouble being one person. Fate, which must be pissed at the Simpsons like it’s never been pissed at anyone before, has dealt up a Jessica clone.

The clone’s name is Lynsey Nordstrom and she has stepped up to claim her very own 15 minutes of fame.

Apparently, the former nanny (she left that job to work full time as a Jessica Look-A-Like) was sent to the Cowboy’s vs Giants game by the New York Post. She was seated a few rows behind the Cowboy’s bench in an effort to cause distraction. I don’t really think the Giants needed any help distracting Dallas, but whatever.

Jessica #2 colors her hair and wears brown contacts to “pull off” the Jessica look. She’s also spent a great deal of time working on the smile and facial expressions.
