New Artist – Liz Scott

As you know, one of my favorite things to post about is new artists. I never get tired of coming across new musicians that could be the stars of tomorrow. I remember the first Leona Lewis song I heard, I thought “She’ll be on the Music blog banner one day.”

Then she was.

I get a similar vibe from the artist I’d like you to listen to today. Her name is Liz Scott. Her debut single is scheduled to release December 16th – just days away. She has an incredibly beautiful voice.

Liz Scott scheduled to release her debut pop single Angel exclusively through MadeRecords.com. Created with the help of renowned producer Markus Moser, Angel will be available everywhere December 16th. The song can be previewed now at www.myspace.com/lizscottmusic.

“My songs are mostly based on true experiences, and combining the realities of life, they are also intertwined with elements of fantasy” says Scott who began recording in her early teens. Born in Sydney, Australia to English parents, Liz spent much time growing up in other countries such as Papua New Guinea, Guam USA, and the UK. The cultural diversities of her ever changing surroundings, combined with a vivid imagination, have helped to mold the incredible music that she is putting forth today.

Markus Moser of Made Records shared her vision to produce her upcoming album Princess to be released in February, 2009. A combination of musical experiences from her work such as Drop by Drop & No Good for Me along with the results of her new union with Markus Moser, Princess promises to expand on the incredible journey that Liz Scott seems to have been on her whole life.
