Here’s a few fast facts:

She was born in 1983.
She’s a Texan – born not far from Dallas.
She once had a small part in a Ruffle’s Potato chip ad.
In Nashville, she came in second out of 400 who competed for the role of Tammy Wynette in the musical “Stand By Your Man.”
She plays the guitar and writes many of her own songs.
Out of 8,000 initial contestants, she finished third on the show Nashville Star. She harmonized with winner Buddy Jewell on his Sony CD. On Sept. 15, 2003 she became a Sony artist, herself.
