Eminem Says He’s Back With Ex-Wife (and subject of a few of his angrier songs), Kim Mathers.
“We have reconciled and are probably going to remarry,” Eminem in a call to a Detroit radio show.
The couple was married in 1998, then had an UGLY divorce in 2001, complete with the nastiest of custody battles. She had attempted suicide in 2000 and was arrested on drug charges in 2003. For his part, he recently underwent rehabilitation for a dependency on sleeping pills.
Also on the call in to the radio show, Eminem indicated that he would be taking some time off (you think?). He doesn’t indicate that he’ll be retiring, but in a promotional video for the album, he mentions that the album is the final appearance by his Slim Shady alter ego.
