On the Ryan Seacrest show this morning, Ryan talked with Chris Daughtry – great interview. Ryan was telling how shocked he was when he found out that it would be Chris going home. He said that when he got to the studio that day, a producer pulled him into his office and told him. Ryan said the room fell very, very silent – because of the shock of the whole thing.
He also explained why he delivered the news the way he did – he actually did it as a tribute to Chris, to show just how shocking and unreal it all was.
The biggest news, though, is this: Ryan got a call from someone who said that a “Huge” group – one that’s a household name – wants to sign Chris as their lead singer. Ryan wouldn’t give the name because the group wants to make the offer to Chris tonight on Extra! As soon as we find out, we’ll post it here.
And so it all begins!!! Knock ‘em all the way out, Chris.
