Errgh. I just found this out, or I’d have posted about it long before now.
Apparently Kanye West will be the Musical guest on Saturday Night Live tonight – December 13, 2008. Yeah, that tonight.
Hugh Laurie, the brilliant actor from the equally brilliant “House” will be the host.

Rihanna has plans to make a name for herself in the fashion world. The beautiful singer is a regular guest at runway shows, and has been a fashionista for quite a while.
She recently confirmed that she’s working on her own designs.
Rihanna has already dabbled in the accessories industry, famously putting her name on a range of umbrella -ella -ellas earlier this year to coincide with her monster hit “Umbrella.”
She told WWD, “I can’t say when it will be released, but it’s definitely going to happen. I’m not one to rush into anything. I want to take my time.”
The busy star has also teamed up with retail chain H&M to design a range of casualwear as part of the Fashion Against Aids campaign.

On stage, Jamie Foxx said something about Chris Brown being a “very lucky guy.” Hmmm. Yep.

There are only two weeks to go before the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards, and the excitement’s growing like wildfire.
Kanye, Rihanna, Chris Brown, Katy Perry… so many great artists are up for awards. Kanye should win with Good Life, but I’ve thought that before. Frankly, he should have accumulated a shelf full of awards for his videos by now. He’s a creative genius and we all know it. Why not just give him his awards and sleep well at night?!

Rihanna was in concert in Milan, Italy on the 15th. Word is that, as always, she put on a ridiculously hot show.
She’s always gotten comparisons to Beyonce and Janet Jackson, but it’s apparent that (with all due respect to both of those equally talented performers) she’s very much her own person. Her style and originality are purely her own.

The pic above is from the 2007 BET Awards – on the black carpet. I honestly can’t ever remember seeing them side by side before, but I never realized Beyonce was so much taller. I suspect she has heels on, of course, but Rihanna probably does, too…which should kind of even them out.
Anyway, they look gorgeous – Rihanna just looks like she’s Beyonce’s doll.
