Remember JoJo? The fresh-faced girl with the great voice and bright future? The same one that seemed to just disappear? This may surprise you, but the fresh-faced little girl is now 20 years old and still making great music. I’ve always loved her voice, but it’s better than ever – I’m betting this song will take over the radio this summer.
Rihanna is almost as well known for her fashion sense and style as she is her music. The beautiful singer and fashion icon loves to shock people and avoids being predictable at all costs.
Talking about her future look, Rihanna (22) said: “I probably see a lot of menswear, or something extremely, extremely feminine. But I like to play with both. It would have to be so extreme that it’s a look, because I don’t usually like typical ladylike, girly-girly stuff. It would be a look if I were to do it. I always like something that’s a little off, so it’s just not typical or expected.”
Rihanna admits her style has evolved over the years but never wants her look to become “contrived”.
Rihanna Rocking a hot 80′s Whitney Houston Look
She told Interview magazine: “Well, I would say that in the beginning of my career, I didn’t have a lot of input in what I wore and stuff, but it was a very, innocent, girly look. Then after we put out ‘Good Girl Gone Bad’, it kind of became a darker, edgier look, and then it got even edgier on the last album. And now it’s just . . . I’m over the whole structured clothing, overly shoulder-padded s**t. I like stuff that’s easy without trying too hard. I don’t like stuff that’s too contrived.”
How could Castle Walls not be special? It has TI AND Burlesque star Christina Aguilera… two of the best at their best. The song has already been compared to Eminem and Rihanna’s ‘Love The Way You Lie’ and is produced by the same guy, Alex Da Kid. I guess comparisons are inevitable, but it’s a shame really because this song should be getting attention ONLY on its own merits.
When powerhouse artists hook up, expect something VERY special. When the powerhouse artists are TI and Christina Aguilera, expect something so special it stops you in your tracks.
This song will make you forget you even have tracks. There’s no way this song won’t be an epic hit.
‘Castle Walls’ is the next official single from T.I.’s new album No Mercy. Click the link to order your copy now – this one will be a monster.

It’s always a great day when there’s news to report about one of my absolute favorite bands: Maroon 5. Maroon 5′s new single “Misery” is available digitally today. The track will appear on their highly anticipated third studio album, Hands All Over, due out on September 21st. Produced by rock studio legend Robert John “Mutt” Lange (AC/DC, Def Leppard, The Cars), Hands All Over is a killer hybrid of rock, pop, funk and R&B. Recorded at Langes Switzerland studio, the members of Maroon 5 locked themselves in the mountains to patiently craft their latest effort. Starting with the hard-rocking title track, the album takes several intoxicating twists and turns including such compositions as Out of Goodbyes, a stunning country ballad infused with musical and vocal contributions from Nashville chart-toppers Lady Antebellum. Long-time fans will get a thrill out of the propulsive Stutter, melody rich Give A Little More and Dont Know Much About That, which professes a classic soulful vibe.

Maroon 5 began writing the songs that appear on Hands All Over after winding down from a world tour in support of their 2007 studio release It Wont Be Soon Before Long. Several months later, the band received a phone call from Lange, who had heard that the band were beginning to write a new album, and expressed an interest in producing it.
We didnt even talk to anyone else, Adam Levine, Maroon 5s frontman says. Mutt is undeniably one of the most successful producers whos ever lived.
Jesse Carmichael, the bands keyboardist, added, Mutt really helped us play to the best of our ability. And it drove us to be bigger and better than ever.
The result is Hands All Over, a monumental record chock full of buoyant, unforgettable melodies. A bright new star is set to invade the pop music scene – 17-year-old Charice, discovered on YouTube in 2007.
Charice may look like any other pretty teenager: stylish, confident, petite and filled with non-stop energy. But when she opens her mouth to sing - with a profound, rich and soaring 100 decibel voice from every inch of her 5 feet 1 inch body, the audience quite literally gasps.
And at 13 million hits and counting on YouTube, it appears that audience is growing at a staggering pace.
Already a sensation in her native Philippines, Charice’s self-titled US debut CD is scheduled to be released on May 11th via 143/Reprise Records – the day after her 18th birthday! Her first single, Pyramid features label mate Iyaz (who recently spent four weeks at #1 with his smash hit, Replay) and is already making waves on Top 40 radio. Listen to the song here, and follow Charice’s journey thus far by checking out “Charice: A Star is Born” on her YouTube channel.
