American Idol: Season 5
AI 5 kicked off with a bang and a fat lot of fun!
A few of the faves from tonight around our house were Mandisa (belted out Fallin’), Brooke (sang with her sister), and David (the 17 year old crooner), and Zachary (the other 17 year old). Terrell and Derrell had fantastic voices also, as did the second pair of twins - I just didn’t like the whole crooning at Paula thing.
I also adored the girl who said she had sung a Beyonce song - the one another girl picked on. She was freaking adorable!
Can’t wait for tomorrow night - we’ll finally get to hear Chris, the one everyone’s calling “The bald rocker” - for obvious reasons!

It was a good start to the season. I know as time goes by the “big” talent will become clear!!

And was Bo great on Jimmy Kimmel, or what? He had a new band with him, tho..
Who was the new Band??? I couldn’t watch Jimmy Kimmel….couldn’t keep my eyes open…Kimmel is on really late in Canada!!!
