David Cook Opens Up About The Tour and Kimberly Caldwell
Deserved “American Idol” winner David Cook recently attended the Jonsson Cancer Center Foundation’s annual Taste for a Cure Benefit in Beverly Hills. He said he was very glad to support cancer awareness because it has affected his family. His older brother, who just celebrated his 37th birthday (Happy Belated Birthday!), has cancer.
David and the rest of the “Idol’s” are getting ready for the show’s summer tour which begins July 1. He said he is looking forward to it because, “I get to hang out with nine of my best friends.”
He said that he and his girlfriend, Kimberly Caldwell, will keep in touch while he’s on tour. “Text and email will be my life the next few months.”

Amy Winehouse has Emphysema
Sadly, Amy Winehouse is having to pay her debt for ….well… raunchy living.
Her dad recently announced that the talented but troubled star has developed emphysema. Daddy Winehouse told the press:
“With smoking the crack cocaine and the cigarettes, her lungs are all gunked up. There are nodules around the chest and dark marks. She’s got 70 percent lung capacity. The doctors have told her if she goes back to smoking drugs it won’t just ruin her voice, it will kill her. The doctors have said that if she had continued the way she was going, she could have ended up an invalid—she wouldn’t have been able to breathe.”
If that’s not enough of a wake up call for this girl, she’s doomed. It should also be a big fat reminder to everyone else to never touch drugs. Oh, I dunno… as in EVER.
If you ever feel the least bit tempted, come back here and look at the picture you see at the top of the post. Then go have a Kit Kat. Chocolate does wonders for you and doesn’t turn you into a skankadoo.
In all seriousness, I’m a huge fan of Amy Winehouse’s music and hope she’ll get her stuff together. She’s just 24 for pity’s sake!
