All Right! My girl got the much coveted, respectful cover of Sports Illustrated! Right on the hills of being named Ask Men.com’s Most Desirable Woman of 2007. About time the world realize beauty, class, and talent when they see it.

And, btw, the bikini she’s wearing? She designed it. How cool’s that?

Bald Britney Spears

As you’ve noticed, I’ve kind of steer clear of Britney Spears/Paris Hilton/Lindsay Lohan and the pathetic circus that is each of their lives. For one thing, I’d simply rather talk about class than trash - so I tend to focus more on Beyonce, Christina, Chris Brown, Katharine McPhee, Rihanna, Gwen, Jessica Simpson, Justin….and others who have their acts together. The 3 people above don’t even have acts….they certainly don’t have them together.

If you’ve been following the nastiness that passes for lives of the trio from hell, you know where I’m coming from. If they amuse you as little as they do me, you may not even have a clue - since you may never read a thing about any of them.

Just so you don’t think I’m off my nut, let me tell you this much - each has a STRONG drinking problem, they have drug problems, and each has the morals of a sewer dog. Tapes have shown up of Paris partying and using racial slurs against blacks and asians, as well as making anti-gay comments. At a recent appearance overseas, people even threw trash at her - that’s how fed up people are with her kind getting away with everything (I mean, is Kharma on vacation, or what?!?!)

Brit, of course, has two small baby boys at home she keeps forgetting about. There are pics of her and her badly groomed, sloppy self out every night partying - even pics of her falling down drunk. Her family intervened and she recently checked into rehab….she stayed two whole days. So much for that.

Her life has become such a train wreck it actually just makes me sad - I’m furious about the way she’s doing her little boys and her fans - they all deserve better. I was totally impressed, a while back, to see the guy who ran a HUGE (as in one of the biggest celeb sites ever) website devoted to Brit close it. He didn’t want to associate with who she has become, so he shut it down. I thought that was pretty special.

Yesterday, as you can see in the picture above - she showed up with a shaved head at a tatoo parlor where she was getting another tatoo (if she were going to try on some of Angelina Jolie’s obsessions, I wish she’d give class, cleanliness, charities, or parenting a shot).

At least Lindsay actually stayed longer than 2 days in rehab.

Apparently Operation Redemption has begun in Paris Hilton’s camp - she came out recently talking about the suffering in Africa and how she wants to help. I guarantee you she couldn’t find Africa on a map - these three together couldn’t find it! —- But if the vileness that is Paris can actually squeeze out some good…even if it’s for all the wrong, selfish reasons, so be it. Better than watching the millions being spent on her waste of a life.

In kind of related news, Nicole Richie - who I’ve always actually liked- was convicted of DUI and may face possible jail time. Maybe if more of these people were held accountable and realized that they didn’t own the world…maybe they’d actually become humans. Then you look up there at the pic of Brit and think, “Yeah, right.”

For the love of sparkly goddesses, check out these gorgeous Riahanna’s from last night. I kept scanning the crowd shots for her but never saw her once. Then I found these gorgeous pics on hcqb.net - no wonder the cameras couldn’t pick her up……she’d have melted them.

Good Lord, Rihanna, if you get much more beautiful I’ll no longer be a fan. You’ve been warned. It’s a female thing….. a green-eyed, I don’t want to like you because you’re a sparkly goddess-type thing.

Ramblings and Rumblings

Remember when the Grammy’s were all about music rather than politics or political statements? It sure as heck wasn’t last night. To give the Dixie Chicks even one award was a joke, to give them three major awards was just a sad cry for help.

Justin Timberlake should have won more and we all know it. He had a monster year and his cd is one of the best ever made. Maybe if he’d opened his mouth to bitch and moan about world events (if, of course, his sentiments were in line with the Grammy’s heads) and less to perform - maybe then he’d have stood a chance.

His performances were a few of the only things worth watching in the entire show. Chris Brown and Shakira were also pretty amazing.

J-Lo is so full of J-Lo that it’s almost funny. I’m not totally sure who she thinks she is, but I’d love to see her ridiculous demands start falling on deaf ears.

Here’s her latest tired diva act: The London Mirror reports that just two hours before the singer was in due for a recording session, she issued a three-page list of demands (3 pages!). Her demands included a request that all light bulbs be replaced with dimmer ones to make her look “desirable.” Furthermore, “She wanted fresh, piping-hot Cuban bread which we had to trawl 10 bakeries to find and dozens of packets of Skittles — including the new sour flavor,” a source told the paper. “She also wanted a gourmet meat selection, a separate cheese platter, and crates of water and fruit and scented candles.”

Pathetic.

And to end on an up-beat, non-political/non-diva note, one of my favorite American Idols ever, Bucky Covington is rising up the country charts with his debut single, “A Different World.” His self-titled debut album on Lyric Street Records will be released April 17. Can’t even wait.

Hot Ford Edge Commercial

I’m so addicted to this commercial from Ford Edge that it stops me in my tracks wherever I am. The song is better than 95 percent of the ones on the radio!

The title of the song is “Miles and Miles” and is by a band named Dee. Never heard of them? Me neither - but now I want to hear every song they’ve ever done! Apparently the full song is on myspace/deemontreal.

I’ve been trying to figure out the actress in the car - she looks so unbelievably familiar to me. I’m not sure if she’s a model, an actress, or both - but if I don’t find out where I’ve seen her before I’m going to go nuts. I think I know her from another commercial…but I’m not sure…..and this is where I go nuts.
