Dierks Bentley Elopes

Dierks Bentley eloped with his High School Girlfriend, Cassidy, to Mexico. Dierks has said that his mom was a bit sad that she didn’t get to see him get married, but he said she is OK now.

Love his music and wish the couple nothing but bliss, but that’s kind of a selfish thing to do to mom. Should’ve gotten her another hotel and taken her along.

What K-Fed’s Up To

This boy is becomming as amusing as the Simpson sisters ever hoped to be.

The Cat in the Hat has his own website now, The Kevin Federline Official Website. Dramatic opening that lets us know that we don’t even know him yet….then once inside the site, he greets us with his stats and how he likes wind whipping through his hair. Allrighty then.

However, the most interesting and amusing thing I’ve read all day came from someone who left a comment on K-Fed’s My Space….well we knew he had to have one of those. The poster, and my hero for the day was responding to all of Brit’s fans who spew hatred all over the Kev…… My hero’s quote was: “…it cracks me up when britney’s fan’s call anybody talentless. that’s some funny shyt right there. Like ya’ll got standards or sumpin.” I spewed coffee when I read that one. Gotta change, but it was worth it.

Walk the Line in Prison

Inmates at Folsom State Prison are getting to see the popular movie, “Walk the Line,” (an awesome, awesome movie at that!), next month, nearly four decades after Johnny Cash famously performed there.

Joaquin Phoenix, who plays Cash in the film and has been nominated for a Golden Globe, will attend the January 3 showing.

“John believed in the power of redemption and offered his unique gift to anyone who needed to find it within them, and in the process, he inspired millions, I can think of no greater way to honor him than to carry on his legacy of using music to connect to all people.” - Joaquin Phoenix

Cash’s legendary performance at Folsom Prison on January 13, 1968, became a popular live album, and put the Prison on the map.

Wonder if they’d mind one more person? I’d love to see the movie for a third time!

BTW, I got the soundtrack for Christmas (Thanks again, Steph!!!) and it is WONDERFUL…listening to it makes me all kinds of happy.

Bo Bice’s long-awaited CD, The Real Thing, is everything his fans had hoped it’d be. I’ve listened to mine like a million times already. “You’re Everything” is only the hottest song EVER, that’s all….and the title song ties with a few others on the CD for second place.
