Fun, catchy, hugely popular… would you expect anything else from Sugarland? I didn’t think so.

Sugarland has another song hit and wildly popular video on their sticky little hands with Stuck Like Glue. I gotta say, I love the haircut and I’m digging the eye makeup! And the dance moves? Killer.

Those of us who have been pulling for Britney Spears to land on her feet (and then stay there) have reason to feel optimistic.  As evidenced by recent candids, Britney looks like she’s pulling it together.  She looks fantastic – better than she has in a long time.  It wasn’t that long ago that the pictures hit the web with her extensions going haywire.

Let’s face it, our girl looked a hot mess, and a lot of blogs were pretty much having a “Countdown to the Meltdown”.

If these pictures are any indication, she may have averted the anticipated meltdown and may shock the world after all.  The once on top of the world singer has been spending hours in the studio, working hard on her new album.  Pictures have shown her arriving at the studio, smiling, carrying her beloved iced coffees.

I’m with you on this one, Britney, they are amazing.

The once-troubled singer spent hours in the studio today, working hard on her new album.

She keeping her fans up to date, tweeting: “Spending the day in the studio recording.”

I only hope that in no time at all, I’m able to post more good news about the famous 28-year-old.

Britney is also set to star in a tribute episode of hit show Glee, which she has been excitedly tweeting updates about. Boyfriend Jason Trawick has been credited with helping his girlfriend get her life back on track.

Her former manager, he stepped down to avoid any conflict when their relationship became serious.

Joe Brooks Releases Superman Video

by Joi on August 4, 2010

Singer-songwriter Joe Brooks has released a music video for his debut single “Superman.” The video features the musician performing in a New York style loft and is definitely worth checking out. “Superman” will appear on Brook’s debut album, Constellation Me, available August 17th on Universal Republic Records. Check it out now.

Fans all over the world have responded and connected with Brooks’ first single, “Superman,” which has almost 10 million MySpace plays to date. And as his online fan base continues to grow (now closing in on 20 million MySpace plays overall), there is apparently a real world connection: his first two UK tours, 16 date’s total, sold out, without the help of a label or publisher.

Written over three years and recorded in Los Angeles and England, in everywhere from state of the art recording studios to a garage apartment, Brooks’ upcoming release is the culmination of his musical efforts. Covering elements of rock, pop, and blues, Brooks’ recorded music reflects his own personal tastes from John Mayer to Ray Charles. But above all else Brooks is a born-performer and must be witnessed live to really understand his vision and art.

Fans can now receive a FREE download of “Superman” by signing up for the Joe Brooks newsletter here!

In 2004, ZacPoor made the move from his hometown of Fairfield, Montana to Los Angeles to pursue his dream of becoming a professional singer-songwriter.  Now, after years of hard work and commitment, his dream is finally coming true.  Swedish hit-maker and music producer of Fox’s hit show “Glee” Adam Anders took note of the young songwriter – who has already collaborated on projects with the likes of Nick Jonas, Matt Scannell of Vertical Horizon, Samantha Jade and more – and is now working closely with him on his debut EP, scheduled for release on August 24th.

Citing the influence of singer-songwriters like Bruce Springsteen, Phil Collins, Richard Marx and Bryan Adams, Zac’s music combines pop with rock roots to establish a unique sound.  The first single “She’ll Be Breaking Hearts” showcases his ability to create authentic and emotional pop music with universal themes of love, loss, and hope. “My songs are both inspired by my own life experiences and those of others around me … For a songwriter, everything must inspire you so your life is not the only thing on display. If it was, not everyone could relate.”

To experience ZacPoor for yourself, visit ZacPoor.com for a free download of “She’ll Be Breaking Hearts,” and look for the viral video premiere on July 13th.  For more information on Zac and his forthcoming EP, visit his MySpace or Facebook, and find him on Twitter.
